Innovators don’t make excuses, they produce results. They always say, ‘no more excuses!’ Do it or don’t do it – but don’t make excuses. Stop using your incredible brain to think up elaborate rationalizations and justifications for not taking action. It is time to do something. Get on with it. Say to yourself: “If it’s to be, it’s up to me!” Losers make excuses; winners make progress.
What is one major thing that separates leaders in every society? It’s sustainable hunger. They are always hungry. They execute. I have taken my time to study the king of the jungle, the Lion. In the jungle, the lion is not the biggest, not the smartest, not the longest, not the tallest, not the heaviest, not the bravest or the most intelligent, yet the lion is the king. What makes the lion the king? How the king of the jungle thinks is different from other animals. Lions hang out with lions. They don’t want to be influenced by other animals. Lions have the spirit of leadership and this spirit is called “Attitude”. Lions don’t hang out with hyena or hippopotamus or giraffe because they don’t want their great attitude to be contaminated. Lions invite other lions and attack prey. Those who think like lions innovate, create, and achieve teamwork and lead. If you can think like one in them, not one of them, you will achieve a result like no one of them.
God puts the defense mechanism for survival inside every creature. The Lion’s defense is the roar, the Cheetah’s defense is the speed, the Eagle’s defense is the flight, the Elephant’s defense is the weight and the Skunk’s defense is the odor. Every human being’s defense is in the brain. Everyone has the brain to think anything possible. Imagine, think and innovate.
